These unrestricted grants will support two emerging individuals or start-up organizations who work to generate positive social impact through direct service or creative expression. Our first grant for 2019 was awarded to Utsha Foundation. Please consider applying to be our next 2019 recipient.
To apply, please submit a one pager that includes a rationale of how your mission (personal or organizational) aligns with Aadaan’s, a plan of how you will spend the money, and a link to your website or portfolio. After the proposals are submitted, potential candidates will be asked for an interview to be conducted online or in-person. Post-interview the grants will be awarded to two suitable candidates.
Grantees should be willing to participate in a blog post to be featured on Aadaan.com.
Examples of who should apply: humanitarians, helping professionals, educators, activists, environmentalists, musicians, writers, poets, and visual artists.
We strongly believe that representation matters. We encourage anyone who self-identifies as LGBTQIA, is a POC, or is living with a disability to apply.
